May at Poland
May in Poland was absolutely beautiful for me. With the feeling of spring everywhere, I found myself enjoying the landscapes and taking in the beauty of this season more than ever. ![]()

We started the month with a presentation by the young people from MDK at the City Hall called *OGRÓD MDK2 – RESTART*. During this presentation, they shared ideas on how to make the youth center even better—turning it into an even more inspiring place filled with fun and educational activities where young people spend a big part of their time. ![]()

Özge and I started learning and practicing face painting together. It was such a fun and creative experience, and we hope to share that same happiness with children the celebration of children day. ![]()

This month also felt very multicultural. We welcomed a group from Czechia as part of a shared project and organized creative activities together with the young people at MDK to support imagination and collaboration. ![]()

Later, we had another great event at MDK focused on discovering how to be more creative and free in Canva. It was both educational and enjoyable for everyone involved. ![]()
Then came the *Young Radio* conference in Katowice—another amazing project created by young people. Participants and guests talked about being aware, being active participants, and thinking critically. Young people from Gdańsk also joined us, and before the conference we explored *Nikiszowiec* in Katowice together. Its history and architecture made the experience even more special. ![]()

One of my favorite parts of the month was spending three days in *Gliczarów* with the MDK2 youth, working on new projects and creating together in a very inspiring atmosphere. It was productive, but what stayed with me the most was the breathtaking mountain views and all the greenery around us. I felt completely enchanted by nature… honestly, I felt a little like Heidi ![]()
(someone should probably do a DNA test—maybe Heidi was Polish after all
).
May was full of creativity, connection, culture, and unforgettable moments. Thank you to everyone who made this month so special ![]()
