May Through Halil`s Lens – Capturing Music and Moments
Throughout May, our volunteer Halil explored the local music scene through photography, documenting live concerts and performances by various artists. From dynamic stage moments to interactions with the audience, each event offered new experiences, helping him develop his photography skills while combining creativity with volunteering.

In May, I spent most of my volunteering time photographing live music events. From energetic rock concerts to performances by local indie bands, every event had its own character and atmosphere. It was exciting to experience such a variety of artists and styles throughout the month, with each concert bringing something different to the stage.
Being close to the stage allowed me to capture unique moments, from the interaction between musicians and the crowd to the small details that make each performance special. Working in different lighting conditions and fast-paced environments also helped me develop my photography skills and gain more confidence behind the camera. It was a great opportunity to combine my interest in photography with volunteering, while discovering new artists and experiencing the local music scene from a different perspective.
