✨ My December Volunteering Journey – Poland ✨

December was full of volunteering, sharing, and inspiration for me 🤍

On December 5th, World Volunteering Day, we organized a special event for volunteers at the youth center. I actively took part in the preparation process and helped prepare the decorations together with Özge. It was both a lot of fun and a very meaningful day where I truly felt the value of volunteering 🎉 In the photo, there is a warm and sincere moment with our youth center coordinator, Ms. Dobrato, in front of the decorations we prepared.

During the month, we also participated in a project organized by Indid in Warsaw together with youth center volunteers and Ms. Dobrato. Özge and I took part as speakers 🎤 Our topic was what inspires us while volunteering. It was quite exciting, but remembering my volunteering journey and sharing my sources of inspiration was a very valuable experience for me ✨

I also had the chance to attend a conference in Opole with Ms. Dobrato. While she was giving her speech, I took some photos. Opole was a beautiful city, and meeting volunteers from different places was a truly enriching experience 🌍

Another fun activity at the youth center was the Christmas-themed crepe-making competition 🎄 Everyone decorated their own crepes and took photos. I decorated mine as a snowman ☃️

During the Christmas holiday, I traveled to Budapest with my volunteer friend Özge and close friends ✈️ The group photo we took together reminds me that this journey has given me not only experiences, but also very special friendships 🤍

My December in Poland was like this. Even though the weather was cold, the memories I made were incredibly warm ❄️🔥
