Green Vibes: Exploring Sustainability and Environmental Action

Halfway through our Youth Exchange “Green Vibes: Youth in Action for the Planet”!

The past few days have been filled with activities focused on sustainability, environmental protection and climate action. Through workshops, discussions, simulations and teamwork, participants have been exploring today’s environmental challenges, sharing perspectives from their countries and discovering practical ways to promote more sustainable lifestyles.

One of the highlights of the programme was our visit to Cieszyn, a historic Polish town located on the border with the Czech Republic. During the trip, participants took part in an eco-themed city quest, completing tasks related to environmental awareness while discovering the town’s history, culture and local landmarks. It was a great opportunity to combine learning with exploration and teamwork.

Back at the venue, participants continued working in international groups, exchanging ideas and developing solutions to environmental issues. Reflection sessions and intercultural activities have also helped strengthen cooperation, communication and mutual understanding within the group. There is still plenty ahead, including more workshops, outdoor activities and collaborative work on ideas that participants can take back to their local communities.
