Ozge in May 2026 – A Month Full of Learning, Travel and New Experiences

By May, spring had fully arrived, and the warmer days made everything feel a little brighter. It was a busy yet incredibly enjoyable month, filled with meaningful activities, new experiences, and memorable travels.

Together with our English teacher Wiktoria and my fellow volunteer Öznur, we continued visiting schools and giving presentations about our center and international volunteering opportunities. 📚✨

This month, we also welcomed a group of young people from Kroměříž, Czechia, to our center. The day was packed with activities, and I had the opportunity to take an active role in delivering a workshop on how to create a project. Leading part of the workshop was both important and different for me, and I truly enjoyed sharing ideas and learning together with the participants. 🇨🇿🤝

Alongside our regular weekly KOMKE meetings, we were involved in an important conference called “Bądź świadomy, zaangażowany, krytyczny vol. 3 – Młode Radio.” It was a very engaging and inspiring event, and I spent the day at the Eurodesk stand, meeting participants and talking about opportunities for young people. 🎙️🌍

May was also a month of travel. I had the chance to visit Barcelona and Milan, two beautiful cities full of energy, culture, and unforgettable moments. ✈️🌊🏛️

We closed the month with a trip to Gliczarów Górny together with our center and the young people who take part in its activities, as part of the “Naukowa Ekipa” ESC integration programme. Returning to this beautiful place was a special experience for me. Spending time together outside our usual environment, sharing activities, conversations, and new memories made the trip even more meaningful. ⛰️💚

May was full of movement, learning, connection, and new experiences — a month that reminded me how much can fit into just a few weeks. 🌸✨
