Sześć miesięcy Poliny w MDK2: warsztaty, ekologia, gry miejskie i gala wolontariatu

Hello!
My name is Polina and I am an ESC volunteer.

For the 6th month I am a volunteer in Poland in MDK2 Piekary Slaskie. During this time, I took part in many projects and events aimed at interaction with young people at the local level.

During the last months, I participated in the organization and implementation of the following events:
– environmental projects at the local level, tree planting and cultivation of local parks
– activities with children from Ukraine: art classes, cooking workshops, greeting children with holidays, etc.
– took part in the City Games, where young people from all over the region came
– conducting workshops for schoolchildren on such topics as Voluntary service, climate changes, Media literacy and Propaganda, etc.
– conducting workshops in MDK2: culinary workshops for children and youth, a workshop for the youngest about climate changes, a workshop for teachers, etc.
– took part in the organization and holding of the local event “Voluntary Gala” within the framework of the “Youth in Action” project

This is a very valuable and unforgettable experience, filled with knowledge and emotions. There is still a lot of time ahead for the creation and implementation of new projects. I am very grateful to the people who were by my side and helped me during adaptation and the main activity. Employees of Młodzieżowy Dom Kultury 2 and Fundacja Europejski Instytut Outsourcingu.
